Tisha B'Av: Megilat Eicha and Gathering
We’ll meet at 7pm to end Shabbat together and begin the fast and commemoration of Tisha B'Av, the 9th of Av. We'll read Megilat Eicha together, learn about various events in Jewish history associated with 9th of Av, and explore the concept of ‘8th/9th/10th of Av’.

Celebrate Shavu’ot at Ashreynu!
One of the 3 important Torah festivals where Jews travelled from far away to Jerusalem to celebrate at the Beit HaMikdash, bringing grains and fruits. Hear the epic story of Ruth, Naomi and Bo’az, our Judean ancestors, and eat sweet dairy foods with us, as is the tradition.

May 03 Afternoon sessions, 5:30: Yoga, Salad Workshop+ Cocktail Crafting, S'udah Shleesheet + Havdalah.
Afternoon workshops led by Anastasia, Stephanie and Ayelet. Salad Workshop is a tribute in memory of Ashreynu member and dear friend, Alona Shevach, wife of Shlomo Shevach. Alona loved salads and taught us how to read Israeli cookbooks from the 1960s and create some delicious fresh dishes. These will pair nicely with a spring cocktail, all of which we will enjoy together at S'udah Shleesheet, just before Havdalah. RSVP for Workshops

Selim's Self Defense Class
Sign up for this free class offered to Ashreynu by Selim!
Selim will be teaching us some moves in this first self defense class for all levels. Plan on arriving 15 minutes early to get ready. Wear a tshirt or rashguard, shorts or leggings. The class will be held on a Jiu Jitsu mat (no shoes/socks).
